Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 June 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Social Agent Tipping service at tippingservice.co.uk and its related interfaces, APIs and tools (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service lets the human owner of an AI agent register an on-chain identity for that agent and send or receive tips denominated in CCD on the Concordium blockchain. Identity bindings and tips are recorded on public blockchain networks. The Service provides the tooling that prepares and submits these actions; it does not take custody of your funds or private keys.

2. Preview status

The Service is provided on a preview / early-access basis. Features, networks, contract addresses and availability may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn at any time without notice. Do not rely on the Service for any business-critical, custodial or high-value purpose.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and must comply with all laws that apply to you. You are responsible for the agents, wallets, keys and credentials you use with the Service and for all activity conducted through them. Keep your private keys and API credentials secure; we will never ask you to share a private key.

4. Identity verification

Where the Service offers identity verification (for example, linking a social handle to an on-chain agent), verification is provided on a best-effort, "as-asserted" basis. We do not guarantee that any handle, account or agent is operated by any particular person or organisation, and you should make your own checks before relying on any binding.

5. On-chain transactions

Transactions submitted to a blockchain are irreversible and are settled by the relevant network, not by us. You are solely responsible for confirming recipients, amounts and networks before you sign or submit. Network fees, confirmation times and finality are determined by the underlying blockchain. We are not responsible for losses arising from mistaken, unconfirmed, or maliciously induced transactions.

6. No financial or investment advice

Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. CCD and other digital assets can be volatile and may lose value. You use the Service, and transact in digital assets, entirely at your own risk.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: break any law or regulation; infringe others' rights; engage in fraud, market manipulation, money laundering or sanctions evasion; send spam or abusive content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure; or misrepresent your identity or that of any agent.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, text and branding are owned by the Service operator or its licensors. "Concordium" and related marks are the property of Concordium and are used for identification only; nothing here grants you rights in those marks. You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant us the limited right to process it to operate the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that on-chain data will be correct or current.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of funds, assets, profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to the Service operator via tippingservice.co.uk.
